We really hope we can keep Oh My Godheads alive for as long as people play it. And we hope that’s long enough so we can make all our and fans crazy fun ideas fit it.

If you don't know what Oh My Godheads is, it's a fast paced, action-packed local multiplayer game with 'capture the head' gameplay! The game is coming to Early Access so that developer Titutitech can work with the community to add new features and polish the game as much as possible before full launch later this year.

I was already creating little games when I was at school and I always liked to change rules for other games we were playing, from soccer to Monopoly, me and my friends were changing all rules (and cheating a lot ha ha) to create whole new games.

There is no secret here we all dream of making games, and we all know we still have a long way to go and a lot to learn, so we take the process seriously and try to work hard.

We love multiplayer games, and we were playing them a lot after work. Games like Monaco, Towerfall, Samurai Gunn or Nidhogg showed us that there was a space for indie couch multiplayer games and we decided to try to make our own.

Oh My Godheads is about gods, myths, ancient treasures and adventurers, and there’s a really rich story here in the “Old Continent”.

We have a giant something that can kill you. We are trying to keep it out from promotional materials so people have some extra laughs when they first see it.

We built a prototype of “local capture the flag brawler” type of game made out of boxes. The game was overly simple but still fun.

Our base office is in the middle of the technological district of Barcelona. Not much around us other than buildings and huge companies. So, no, we have not used many of our immediate surroundings. But Oh My Godheads is about gods, myths, ancient treasures and adventurers, and there’s a really rich story here in the “Old Continent”. We borrowed a bit of it, but at the same time we forced us to go out of it and try to borrow from as many cultures as we could. And we hope to keep doing it, as there’s fascinating history and myths all over the planet.

We aren’t really thinking too much in the future. In 5 to 10 years we will probably be in the middle-end of the next generation of game systems... We’d like to think that not much will have changed and people keep playing games as always.

The worse part is having to deal with all non-game development tasks that take so much time and that force you to take tough decisions, like removing certain future do to lack of time. Paperwork days are utterly boring, while dev days fly away too fast.
