Marble Land is a physics-based puzzle game that was designed primarily for Virtual Reality platforms. The purpose of the game is to guide a rolling marble on the correct path to its target destination by changing the configuration of multiple elements in the level.
As you progress through the game, the puzzles tend to increase in complexity and become more difficult, while at the same time you are taken through a series of unique and spectacular environments.
Marble Land offers an immersive and comfortable experience that doesn’t induce any VR motion sickness. It can be played using a regular controller or motion controllers, either as a sitting or room-scale VR experience. It can also be played as a non-VR game, with mouse and keyboard or a standard controller.
Marble Land is set to be released in the second half of 2017 for Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, PlaystationVR, GearVR and Google Daydream.
In seated mode, you free-fly around the puzzle and interact with puzzle elements either through the use of VR motion controls or just by focusing your view on them and pressing the action button on a regular controller (the game supports both methods of input).
In room-scale mode, you have to walk around the puzzle and use the VR motion controllers to play.
Whenever you interact with a puzzle mechanic, the way in which it affects the marble gets changed. When you are satisfied with the way that the elements are set up, you release a marble and watch the path that it follows.
There is no time limit and you are allowed to release as many marbles as needed, without any penalty, until finding the correct solution.

The art direction of Marble Land tends towards a mix between ancient architecture and sci-fi technology. As you progress throughout the game, you are taken through multiple environments, each one resembling an earth-like location, while at the same time having a distinct alien feel to them.
The puzzle levels are built to seem as though they are miniature reconstructions of large structures. The player experience is intended to mimic the feeling of playing with a real-life marble run that is spread in front of him.

We intend to keep releasing new puzzles even after launch and also bring Marble Land to new platforms both as a VR and non-VR game.

), a new indie studio based in Bucharest, Romania that focuses on VR game development. We are a very small studio, comprising of 2 former AAA devs, and Marble Land is our first project.
We do not plan on doing a crowdfunding campaign since we’ve financed Marble Land up until now from our own pockets and we hope that we can pull it off and release a good game without having to go looking for money.But what would help us out the most right now would be your feedback and your support.

Part of the reason why we decided to start a VR-focused game studio was because we believe in VR to be a completely new direction in terms of game development. It forces us to think differently than we would in traditional game design, and allows us to create new types of experiences for our players.
Since a lot of the work that we are doing can be considered experimental, feedback is indispensable for us. Through Square Enix Collective, we hope to connect with as many people as possible from the gaming community and, through their help, to improve our ideas, find out what works and what doesn’t and release a polished and fun game.
